Pick-up & Return Points

Allow your customers to find and pick up their orders at any of your points of sale or warehouses. 

Use the Pick-up & Return Points add-on to set physical points where customers can pick up and return their orders. 

The relationship between channel and warehouse may additionally have a relationship to a physical location. This indicates that the physical location, configured as a pick-up or return point, has its own warehouse. Therefore, in the event that an order is to be picked up at a pickup point with its own warehouse, it means that the stock to serve that order will come in the first instance from that warehouse.  

When the delivery of an order is to a pick-up point you can define the characteristic Shipments for transfer (you need to create shipments for internal material movements). This indicates that units that are picked from the source storage location with this feature active are to be transferred to the pick point and, therefore, shipments are generated. If the source storage location does not have this characteristic active, it means that, in case it is necessary to transfer material, Commerce will handle it by other means that do not explicitly require the generation of issues. Otherwise, if the originating warehouse is not the one at the pick point, the system will generate the shipments needed to ship the picked units. The costs derived from the transport will be calculated taking into account that the origin will be the logistics center to which the warehouse of origin belongs, but the destination will be the pick-up point.
